高中英语辅导：高一英语上学期词汇聚焦(II)

　　to的这两种含义比较特殊，应重点记忆：
　　1)“归于，属于”, 强调“一对一”的关系。
　　the key to the lock这把锁的钥匙
　　What's your answer to that? 你对那件事的答案是什么？
　　2)“ 随同,伴随，按照，配合”。
　　sing / dance to the music随着音乐唱歌 / 跳舞
　　not to one's taste 不合某人所好
　　2. experience
　　1) n. “经验(不可数), 经历(可数)”。
　　a child's first experience of snow一个孩子对雪的初次体验
　　Yesterday afternoon Dad was telling me about his experiences as a young man. 昨天下午，爸爸给我讲述他年轻时的经历。
　　2) v. “经历, 体验”。
　　He experienced all sorts of difficulties and hardships. 他经历过各种艰难困苦。
　　3) adj. “有经验的”。
　　He is much experienced in teaching. 他有丰富的教学经验。
　　3. particular
　　1)“特别的，个别的”，强调与同一团体、范畴或种类的其他部分的分离和区分。
　　I have nothing particular to do today. 今天我没有特别的事情要做。
　　2)“挑剔的，苛求的”，通常指过分地注意或涉及细节和细微区别。
　　He is very particular about his food. 他吃东西很讲究/挑剔。
　　be particular about(讲究/挑剔)与in particular(特别地)是比较常用的习惯用法。
　　4. advance
　　该词的关键是要注意它作动词时的不同含义,记忆时要把握住其本意“(使)向……前/上” ,再按汉语习惯灵活地翻译。
　　advance the growth of rice促进水稻生长
　　He was advanced to the rank of captain. 他被提升为上尉。
　　As the wages advanced, so did the cost of living. 随着工资的提高, 生活费用也提高了。
　　另外,它的形容词形式为：advanced “高级的，先进的”。
　　advanced ideas 先进的思想
　　an advanced text in physics 一本高级物理课本
